Your School Day
Key Information
Starting school is an exciting milestone, and we want every child (and parent) to feel confident and prepared for their very first day at GEMS SRI. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to make the transition smooth and positive.
Medical & Dietary Information
Please ensure that you have informed the school clinic of any medical or dietary requirements prior to your child's first day. All new students will meet with the medical centre when joining the school.
Please also inform your child's class teacher/tutor if they are on any medication or have any allergies that the school should be aware of.
Please note that completion of the medical declaration form is mandatory, as required by the DHA, prior to the student joining the school.
Sibling Club
Sibling club is wrap around care and only available for those students who have older siblings in the school - who are either attending CCAs that finish at 16.15 or who finish their normal school day at 16.00. Sibling club will take place in their phase group area. This is available to select for parents via the CCA Programme.

School Timings

Co‐Curricular Activities (CCAs)
Our Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) Programme is truly inclusive, allowing students to pursue their passions across all year groups and subject areas. By offering such a wide variety of choice, it appeals to the intrinsic motivation of students and allows them to apply this to their favourite passions.
There are many opportunities before and after school for involvement in a comprehensive programme of activities. Whilst not compulsory, students are strongly encouraged to take up at least one activity which often leads to House and/or school representation at competitive levels. Lists are sent home at the beginning of each term for information as activities change from term to term and from year to year depending upon demand. Students are asked to suggest new ones that would be of interest to them; if a viable group can be formed and a leader found, the activity will go ahead.
Co-Curricular Activities are shaped by our four GEMS values: Care, Excellence, One Team, and Always Learning. By living these values, our students learn to support each other, strive for their best, and embrace new challenges—preparing them to be compassionate, capable, and future-ready leaders.
Our Co -Curricular Activities are built around four pioneering elements: Academics, Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA), Sport, and Technology & Innovation. These pillars ensure every club and activity offers students opportunities to explore new interests, develop skills, and grow as confident, well -rounded individuals.
